YEAR 1: 2019
YEAR 2020
There was no festival during the
height of the COVID-19 pandemic. It hit us hard.
But we came back, rebuilt, and emerged stronger than ever.
Our 1st year. We had over 70+ Songwriters from 40 different states.
YEAR 2: 2021
Year 2 consisted of our first partnership
with Marriott Shoals Hotel and Spa and over 70+
Songwriter Performances.
YEAR 3: 2022
Year 3 consisted of over 60+ performers and
we added another venue to our lineup. We also launched
The Shoals Songwriter Workshop - an interactive songwriter
experience.
YEAR 4: 2023
Year 4 - Going strong with 70+ Performances +
we were proud to partner with K9's for Warriors.
We also started working on our Chords for Change Music Initiative.
YEAR 5: 2024
Year 5, we added yet another venue and
had a major headliner to join us in the fun. We also continued our Chords For Change initiative, this time in partnership with Gibson Guitars.
Our furthest festival traveler was from Ireland.
We also added 'Welcome to HitMaker Town' as our
official festival slogan.
YEAR 6: 2025
Happening now.
